24H of Tremblant

Capturing the magic

24hTremblant

Tremblant’s 24h is Quebec’s #1 winter sport challenge! Starting on Saturday at noon until Sunday at noon, teams of 6 to 12 participants relay each other for 24 consecutive hours either skiing, snowboarding, alpine touring, walking, running or walking & running. In the weeks leading up to the event, participants undertake a donation drive from which all profits go to five important foundations dedicated to children’s causes.

Each year, alongside a team of five skilled camera operators, I have the privilege of filming this extraordinary event. We capture countless hours of footage, creating marketing material for the following year. This task is a thrilling challenge for our video team, often requiring us to brave extreme weather conditions—freezing temperatures, rain, hail, damaging winds, and snowstorms. But it's all part of the adventure!

My primary role during the event is to capture dynamic action footage while skiing with the participants. I also leverage my ski touring skills to climb the mountain alongside them, ensuring we document their journey to the summit.
