LOWA Canada gave me the goal of creating a short video to promote their all-new LOWA Alpine ICE GTX mountaineering boot.
I quickly reached out to my ice climbing friend Benoit Chamberland and we started brainstorming on this project. And that's how the idea came to bring generators and place lights behind the ice formation to create a beautiful backlight effect as he climbs in the middle of the night.
The result was beyond our expectations. And with the help of Anthony Cloutier as second camera operator, we delivered a beautiful video that even made it's way into local newspapers!
